Ingredients
1/2 kg nopales in slices or squares
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
the juice of 1 lemon or two (to taste)
1 clove of garlic finely chopped
Salt
1 chile de árbol or guajillo toasted and ground
1/2 cup shelled salted peanuts, halved (optional)
1 fresh serrano chile cut into quarters (optional)
Preparation
Cook the nopales in water and onion until they are tender. Once cooked, listen to them until they cool down and remove the slime. Put them in a container. Add the other ingredients and serve.
